Rémi Duchêne

Rémi Duchêne was born and raised in Marseille. He studied in Aix-en-Provence before joining the Ecole Nationale d'Administration (ENA). He has served as an anti-drug expert in Paris, a judge in Lyon, has worked at the European Commission in Brussels and now works for the French Ministry of the Interior.

In 2013, he published L’Embarcadère des lettres (Jean-Claude Lattès), an essay on Marseille and writers between 1900 and 1950. In 2022, he published L'Escale des géants, Marseille et les écrivains, 1830-1900 (Presses universitaires de Rennes).
